BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) Lady Gaga is once again urging her fans to contact a state senator from Buffalo and ask for his support for gay marriage.

The pop icon took to Twitter and Facebook on Thursday, asking fans to call Senator Mark Grisanti (R-Buffalo).

Gaga did the same during a concert stop in Buffalo in February.

At the Capitol, the Republican majority in the senate met behind closed doors for the second time this week to discuss whether to bring the bill to the floor for a vote.

No decision has been made, said Majority Leader Dean Skelos, after his conference met with New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, a gay marriage supporter.

"I think in the end if this bill comes to the floor and I expect it to do so it will pass and it will have more than just the bare majority necessary to pass it," Bloomberg said.

The state Conservative Party is already preparing to target politicians who vote yes by pulling its support in next year's elections.
