BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - A nearly two hour search for a pair of jet skiers stranded on Lake Erie ended well for all involved Wednesday night.
A pair of jet skiers became stranded after one craft stalled on the lake. A third jet skier made an effort to help, however the men drifted out of sight and were forced to begin swimming toward shore.
Rescue crews eventually located the pair after nearly two hours and brought them to safety.
The two work at an auto shop, and were taking the jet skis out for a test run when the incident occurred.
The Coast Guard, Buffalo Police and Hamburg Water Rescue Team were part of the search that brought the men to safety.
