Police Make Arrest in Shooting of Teen

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police held a press conference at Noon Tuesday announcing an arrest in the shooting of a 13-year-old girl over Halloween weekend.

Detectives have arrested 22-year-old Greyler Williams of Depew and charged him with First Degree Assault, First Degree Reckless Endagerment and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

The shooting happened at 182 Bickford Avenue, where neighbors say a party was going on in the upper apartment when a gun shot went off around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 31.

A bullet from the gun shot through a wall and struck 13-year-old Jalisa Goodman in the back of the neck. The young girl remains at ECMC in serious condition.
