Buffalo Police: Jan. 8 Shooting Victim Dies

(WKBW release) Buffalo police on Thursday announced that one of the victims of a Jan. 8 shooting in the vicinity of Wohlers Avenue and Dodge Street has died.

Adrian L. Huggins Jr., 25, died Thursday morning at Erie County Medical Center, according to a release issued by Buffalo police.

Huggins and another man were both shot inside a vehicle around 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 8, according to police. The driver of the vehicle was able to drive to Buffalo General Hospital after being shot.

According to the news release, police were told the suspected gunman is a light-skinned black male in his mid-teens and about 5-foot-2, who was wearing a black jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black and white boots. The suspect fled the scene on foot.
