BUFFALO, NY - Erie County Sheriff's are investigating a man who is allegedly growing marijuana on his Goethe Street property in the City of Buffalo Monday, where an arrest was made after numerous pot plants were spotted and pot growing activity was suspected.
Erie County Sheriff's arrested a 35 year old man at the property. He was charged with a felony for marijuana possession.
One neighbor says that then man is fairly new to the neighborhood but doesn't talk with anyone on the street.
"I don't even know his name really because he doesn't mingle with anybody," says Mary Paladino, a Lovejoy resident.
Police say the received an anonymous tip from one of the neighbors about some activity and Air One spotted numerous marijuana plants after a fly-over Monday afternoon.
Buffalo Police Narcotics and the Erie County Sheriff's office obtained a warrant and searched the place around 4pm. The man, who's name is not being released at this time, is charged with a felony for marijuana possession.
