Police Investigate Two Early Morning Shootings

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police are investigating two early morning shootings that took place in Buffalo Thursday.

The first happened around 3:30 a.m. near Walden and Harmonia. Police say 30-year-old James Clemons of Buffalo was sitting in a parked vehicle when he was shot. Clemons was taken to ECMC where he reamins in critical condition.

The second shooting happened around 6:15 a.m. near the 100 block Durham Avenue on the City's East Side. The 30-year-old male victim was found shot in the street near the intersection of Durham and Litchfield Avenue. The victim was declared dead at the scene.

Buffalo Police Homicide detectives are handling both shootings, and are looking into the possibility that both incidents are related.
