BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police have arrested 20-year-old Zyed Abbadi of Williamsville in connection with Tuesday's shooting on Goodyear Avenue.

Officers from the Ferry-Fillmore district arrested Abbadi and have charged him with attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment and criminal possession of a weapon.

Police say that two vehicles were chasing another vehicle when that individual was apparently struck by gunfire while driving Tuesday morning.

The victim, identified as 33-year-old Amandes Pearsall of Buffalo, drove in to a parking lot on Genesee Street near Best Street and Walden Avenue.

Pearsall was grazed in the upper body area and was taken to ECMC where he was treated and released.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
