GREECE, NY (WKBW) -Despite vicious verbal abuse by several 7th grade students on a bus ride earlier this week, Greece Central School District Bus Monitor Karen Klein is choosing not to press criminal charges against the teens. The malicious verbal attack was captured on a cell phone and the video has gone viral on the internet and sparked international outrage. The students, identified as 4 seventh grade Greece Athena Middle School Students, will now face district disciplinary actions by the district. Luis Recio captured the incident on his cell phone, but says he did not take part in the name calling.

"I feel bad about how they were making fun of her," said Recio. "If you see someone picking on someone, tell them to stop."

A criminal investigation was also launched by police. Investigators say all 4 students have taken responsibility for their actions.

"She's happy with the district's response and we're leaving the case open," Captain Steve Chatterton of the Greece Police Department.

Well wishers have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help send Klein on a vacation. For more information on the fundraiser visit: http://www.indiegogo.com/loveforkarenhklein?c=home
