A small Millersport Highway building that was owned, briefly, by a First Niagara bank affiliate has been purchased by a prominent, local real estate investor.
Plaza One Group Inc., a company headed by developer/investor Ron Alsheimer, acquired the 3,750-square-foot building at 392 Millersport Highway from First Niagara Realty Inc., paying $252,500, according to documents filed in the Erie County Clerk's office.
First Niagara Realty took title to the building last year, taking over a delinquent $412,000 mortgage from a pair of California investors.
Now empty, the building - most recently - housed a physical therapy practice.
Alsheimer said he is considering a number of options for the building.
"We don't have anything planned at this point," he said.
Alsheimer said he was attracted to the building because of its Millersport Highway address and located at a busy intersection where streets like Grover Cleveland Highway and Eggert Road intersect.
"It's a very good location," Alsheimer said.
