Plane Carrying Russian Pro Hockey Team Crashes

A chartered plane carrying a Russian professional hockey team crashed during takeoff Wednesday, killing all but one on board, according to the New York Times.

The plane, carrying the team Lokomotiv was traveling from its home city of Yaroslavl to a game in Minsk, according to the report. Initial accounts of the number of people on board ranged from 37 to 44.
