BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The first private sector to be part of Canalside officially opened today.
Employees at Phillips Lytle LLP reported for their first day of work in their new office complex on Canalside in the former Donovan State Office Building.
The building sat vacant for nearly two decades before renovations begun and Phillips Lytle decided to move there from One Seneca Tower.
The bottom on the building will be home to a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, completed with almost 100 rooms. That part of the building in slated to be complete in early 2014.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will take place Monday at 1 p.m. Where local lawmakers will join employees.
