BUFFALO, NY ( WKBW ) The HSBC Arena was a sellout for the fourth game of the Sabres / Flyers playoff matchup...and is a sellout for the 3p.m. game today.
But while there may not be tickets available to see the game inside, thousands enjoy the "Party In The Plaza."
The Buffalo Sabres were the first team in the NHL to come up with the concept to make sure their fans could enjoy the game experience from the Arena, even if they did not have a ticket.
Rainy windy weather did not stop fans from coming to the Arena Wednesday night and cheering on their hometown team, watching from big screens and enjoying live music.
If you have pictures from the "Party In The Plaza" experience, send them to email@example.com and we may use them on the air or online.
The Sabres hope to clinch a win and take the playoff series from the Flyers at 3pm Sunday.
