TONAWANDA, N.Y. (WKBW) - Thursday was a somber day for more than 1200 families.
Students at 10 catholic schools in the region returned to the classroom today, knowing their schools will close for good at the end of the year.
The 10 schools are closing due to declining enrollment. It's all part of the Catholic Diocese's "Faith in Tomorrow" re-organization plan.
The parents we spoke to expressed their love and passion for the Catholic schools and are now concerned about the educational future of their children.
