BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) There are just three days left to convince the Buffalo Teachers union to sign on the dotted line.
Saturday, a rally led by the "Parent Council" called for a protest of the teachers union on Monday.
Parents and politicians are standing by the Board of Education in urging union president Phil Rumore to sign a New York State teacher evaluation proposal.
If the proposal is adopted by the union, $5.6 million dollars in state funding would be restored to schools.
However union delegates turned down the proposal in a vote Thursday. Rumore has until Tuesday to sign.
