(WKBW) - Three minutes was not close to enough time for Park District school board member elect Carl Paladino to make his point.
"This is evidence that the system is totally breaking down and chaotic," said Paladino.
Paladino blasted Superintendent Pamela Brown and board President Mary Ruth Kapsiak he claims they entered into a side deal with Buffalo Teacher Federation President Phil Rumore on how to implement teacher evaluations.
Brown denied the allegations saying the state education department is aware of all the districts agreements with the teacher's union.
"There was no intent to commit fraud and I will reiterate that," said Brown.
Paladino continued his case calling for Brown, Kapsiak, Rumore and any other involved school members to step down and that's not all, he wants the state attorney general and inspector general to investigate
"What was the side letter about if it wasn't to defeat the APPR (teacher evaluation) agreement that was originally drafted? Obviously she (Pamela Brown) can't explain that," said Paladino.
"That whole thing about the MOU's is so absurd because first of all probably between 50 and 100 school districts across New York state have similar MOU's they just don't want to admit it but we know that they do," said Phil Rumore, President of the Buffalo Teachers Federation.
Paladino also demanded that the existing board not make any further policy decisions on things like employment contracts or other executive decisions.until the new board is seated on July 1st.
