Bicyclist Struck On Harlem Road

WEST SENECA, N.Y. ( WKBW ) Eyewitness News cameras were on the scene after a bicyclist was reportedly hit on Harlem Road in West Seneca shortly before 10p.m. Wednesday night.

Police, fire, and ambulance crews arrived on the scene to treat the victim.

West Seneca Police issued this release:

On March 7, 2012 just before 10 pm, a bicyclist was struck near 909 Harlem Rd in West Seneca.

Gary Conway 31, of West Seneca, is in critical condition at ECMC following the accident.

Preliminary investigations indicate Conway may have fallen into the roadway while riding, prior to being struck. There are no charges against the driver at this time.

A one car rollover crash in Chautauqua County landed a driver in a ditch.

This happened Wednesday night on Chautauqua Road in the Town of Pomfret.

There was only one person in the car.

The identity of the victim, and the extent of their injuries is not known at the time of this posting.
