Orchard Park Police Warning Residents About "Pop Bottle Bombs"

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (WKBW) - Orchard Park Police are warning residents after being notified of a "Pop Bottle Bomb" located near an Elementary school.

Police say the bomb was located along the rear perimeter of the property of the Windom Elementary School.

School personnel had located the item along with several other detonated bottles.

The Orchard Park Central School district is investigating and school district personnel will continue to be vigilant for similar devices on and around the school properties.

Police are warning residents that should a suspicious bottle be located, to contact law enforcement and to not pick it up or move it.

Anyone with information regarding the bottle bombs located at the Windom School is asked to contact Orchard Park Police at 662-6444.
