One Killed, One Injured in Auto Shop Fire

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) - The windows of Steve's Auto Services were boarded up Saturday, just one day after a deadly explosion and fire took the life of the owner of the business.

Steve Pawlowski was the owner of the east side auto repair shop and was killed when an explosion and quick-spreading fire erupted around 1 p.m. at his business Friday.

Pawlowski and another employee were working on a vehicle when the blaze ignited.

The auto shop is located at the corner of Genesee Street and East End Avenue in Buffalo. Investigators are still looking into the cause of of the incident.
