Ohio police on Wednesday continued hunting down exotic animals -- including lions, tigers and bears -- that were set free from a wildlife preserve in the city of Zanesville, according to the Columbus Dispatch.

According to the Dispatch story, the man who owned the animals was found dead on the property.

At least 25 of the 48 animals that were freed -- which ranged from grizzly and black bears to lions, tigers, cheetahs and wolves -- had been killed as of Tuesday night, according to the Dispatch report.
