Buffalo, NY (WKBW) - People with the the Occupy Buffalo Movement say they're prepared for anything, including snow. Members say they won't let the weather stop them and they intend to brave the frigid temperatures and snow throughout the winter. The group has received countless donations, including a dome structure that has special panels to keep heat inside. Protestors have also received sleeping bags designed for sub-zero temperatures and space heaters to stay warm. Currently about 40 tents are set up in Niagara Square and many have been winterized as best as possible to endure wicked weather. In a severe snow storm, the Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown says he'd like members of Occupy Buffalo to move out of Niagara Square for safety concerns. The mayor notes that Niagara Square is not a safe location during a heavy snowfall and can be icy and problematic for drivers. It's also a busy spot for snow plows.
