NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) - A Niagara Falls School District employee is being investigated in regards to a sexual misconduct accusation.
An administrator at the 79th Street school in Niagara Falls was placed on paid administrative leave Monday after the school district became aware of the Niagara Falls Police Department investigation into alleged sexual misconduct with a former female student.
The allegation says that the misconduct took place several years ago.
The Niagara Falls Police Department released this statement: On 6/10/2012 the Criminal Investigation Division of the Niagara Falls Police Department did interview a Niagara Falls School District Employee in regards to a allegation of sexual misconduct. The allegation alleges that the misconduct took place several years ago. This is an active police investigation and no further comment can be made at this time in regards to the investigation. Any questions regarding the employment status of the employee should be directed to the Niagara Falls School District.
