Niagara Falls, NY (WKBW) - Close to 40 children are having a blast at summer camp thanks to the Center for Joy at HANCI (Health Association of Niagara County Inc.) and the Variety Kids Telethon. The Variety Peace Day Camp started two years ago, and has already doubled its enrollment.

The Variety Kids Telethon provides scholarships for children to attend the program and provides funding to help operate the day camp. The Center for Joy at HANCI is accepting applications for the Variety Peace Day Camp.

The program runs 9 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. on weekdays from July 18 - Aug. 26. It will be held at HANCI, 1302 Main Street in Niagara Falls. The Variety Peace Day Camp features regular field trips, outdoor play, and learning activities. A nutritious breakfast and lunch will be served every day.
