BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Though the leaves are just beginning to change here in Western New York, areas in the Adirondacks and Catskills are approaching peak foliage.
Bright, near-peak fall colors are expected in the coming weeks in some of the higher elevations of the Adirondacks, while areas like Western New York have just begun to turn.
Foliage spotters in the Greater Niagara region project a 20 percent color change by the end of this week, with some orange and yellow leaves beginning to show.
