BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Some children in Catholic schools are heading back into different classrooms, after last spring's closures.

St. John the Baptist in Kenmore is taking in 100 new students, the largest number out of the 40 Western New York Catholic schools.

This after the diocese announced this past January it was closing specified schools due to declining enrollment.

All throughout the summer, St. John the Baptist held open houses and various other activities to make sure all new families feel comfortable.
