LEWISTON, NY (WKBW-TV) - Fruit and crops at one Niagara County farm are showing no signs of struggle this season, even though this area experienced extreme weather conditions this year.

"We had some awfully cold weather in March and after that, record breaking heat," said Harry Raby, Owner of Diller-Raby Farm. "I've registered down to 17 degrees and still have some fruit."

Raby says his secret to success is adding one product to his crops, The Ultimate Green Solution.

"It allows the plant to absorb whatever nutrients and moisture is in the ground and convert that into growth," said Ted Tidwell, maker of the product. "It can also let the leaf of the plant absorb whatever little amount of moisture is in the air."

The makers of the product say it is 100% safe. It is made with extracts from plants and is biodegradable.

"In Florida, we've had citrus crops with increases as much as 1,500%," said Tidwell.

Monday afternoon, workers at Raby's farm were out picking peaches. Raby says despite the way the season started, and while he's still not 100% sold on the product, it turned out to be a better than average growing season.

"I probably saved what I did have, but I can't prove it yet until I compare it with other years," Raby said.
