SANBORN, N.Y. (WKBW) - Almost 10 percent of all veterans struggle with drug addiction.

That is why Horizon Health is opening up "Freedom Village", a new residential treatment center on Thursday with the hopes of saving lives.

The all-male veteran treatment program is very structured. The men spend most of their days in different therapy programs. There is even a therapy dog on site.

The idea is to help the vets deal with the underlying issues so they don't feel the need to use drugs to numb the pain associated with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
