National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. has partnered with Blue Springs Energy to provide outreach, education and technical assistance services to small business customers.

The effort is part of National Fuel (NYSE: NFG) subsidiary's Conservation Incentive Program in its 11-county Western New York service territory.

Blue Springs energy provides clean energy economic development services, which help complete local energy projects by connecting building fleet owners with project resources.

"This partnership will help small business customers navigate the energy efficiency process from accessing the potential rebates to completing the necessary rebate paperwork," said Bruce Heine, vice president of National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp.

Through the partnership National Fuel's non-residential customers, except for a small number of large commercial and industrial facilities, can receive assistance from Blue Springs Energy, which will answer questions about equipment eligible for rebates. Other services they can provide include:

• Facilities walk-throughs to identify natural gas energy savings by upgrading to new equipment.

• Return on Investment analysis from upgrading to high-efficiency equipment, and utilizing National Fuel's non-residential Conservation Incentive Program rebates.

• Optimizing the dollar amount of a natural gas equipment rebate that compares custom and fixed program rebates.

National Fuel Gas Distribution Corp. has 32,609 small business customers. To date, fewer than two percent of those customers have received rebates, and the company hopes to increase that percentage through this partnership.
