Artpark Gorge Trail

This site is where the falls began to flow over the Niagara Escarpment over 12,000 years ago. Join us to observe the rock strata, fossils, power plants, and other fascinating features of the Niagara Gorge. For information & registration call (716) 282-5154.

Poison Ivy!
Evangola State Park
“You’re going to need an ocean, of calamine lotion!” Learn to identify this itch producing member of the Cashew family. Poison Ivy has its place as an important food plant for wildlife. Trail topics will include ways to organically remove poison ivy from pathways and gardens along with some traditional Native American remedies. For information & registration call (716)549-1050.

New Fort Niagara and the WWII POW Camp
Fort Niagara State Park

Great Gorge Railway Trail

Scenic Bike Ride along the Gorge
and Fridays on Old Falls Street
Come spend a Friday evening at Niagara Falls! Bring along your own bicycle or you can rent one from Ride Niagara Bike Rentals, www.FallsStreet.com. Join a park naturalist on an interpretive ride along the gorge up to Devil’s Hole and when we return, we invite you to explore Old Falls Street; featuring the Fridays on Old Falls free outdoor concert featuring Lakeside Blues Band, music, food and drinks from 7-10 p.m. Fireworks follow the concert at Niagara Falls State Park at 10 p.m.!
