The NFL on Wednesday issued a memo to its teams threatening disciplinary action in the event players fake injuries during games, according to the Washington Post.
The memo comes in the aftermath of Monday night's game between the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams. Some controversy arose after Giants defenders came down with injuries while the Rams were trying to run a no-huddle offense,.
According to the story, the memo says that coaches, players and teams could be subject to discipline if the injuries are determined to be fake.
