Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) Buffalo was once again the hot spot for college basketball fans as thousands of spectators flocked to the First Niagara Center as NCAA March Madness Tournament continued.

Saturday evening was the tip-off at 7:10 p.m. between Syracuse and Dayton.

The games over the past few days have offered more than just a fun time for sports fans.

The events provided an economic boost for the Queen City and beyond.

People from out-of-town stayed at area hotels and dined at area restaurants, pouring money into the Western New York economy.
