According to USA Today, the NBA on Friday postponed training camps and canceled more than 40 preseason games due to ongoing labor strife.
Despite several meetings over the past several weeks, little progress on a new collective bargaining agreement between the league and its players has been made, according to the report. The players have been locked out by the owners since July 1.
Training camps were scheduled to begin Oct. 3, with preseason games beginning Oct. 9.
