Niagara Falls, N.Y. (WKBW) - The terror started just before 8 p.m. Monday evening. Police were called to the 500 block of 29th Street in Niagara Falls to find two dead bodies inside a home.

Police confirm it was a murder-suicide with a couple. It was a domestic dispute that ended tragically. Authorities said both people were in their thirties and according to a neighbor one of the people involved was an Iraqi War Veteran.

Neighbors said they did hear arguing before the shots were fired but police did not confirm that there was a struggle before the fatal shots were fired.

Those who live there said it is typically quiet neighborhood, they said there are no problems.

"We moved from further downtown and it was getting bad over there so we moved over here and this is surreal, we are all in shock," an unidentified neighbor said.

Police are not releasing the names of the couple until they inform the family about the situation. Police said more details would be release shortly.
