Multisorb Expands Globally

BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - A local company is enjoying a growth spurt, a $100 million dollar growth spurt. Multisorb Technologies makes products that are used to extend the shelf life of consumer goods, in several industries including healthcare and food and beverage. Next week, Multisorb will take part in an international trade fair in Poland.

The company recently opened a regional sales office in Poland and soon will be doing the same in Brazil.

Time Warner Cable is plugging into home security, with a system called IntelligentHome.

The 24/7 wireless home security system is complete with a camera to check on pets and children and remote thermostat controls. Business First says Time Warner has 40 employees assigned to handle IntelligentHome, including sales and customer support.

Time Warner is rolling out IntelligentHome across upstate and central New York.

Meanwhile, Paddock Chevrolet continues to rev up its engines. Paddock lead all Chevrolet dealers in the month of September, with 410 retail sales for the month. Sales were up 27.7% year over year. Paddock says it's thanks to the popularity of Cruze, Silverado and Equinox.
