Four persons were subsequently arrested after under-age operatives made illegal purchases of alcohol. The first purchase occurred at Bob's Liquor Store located at 279 E. Fairmount Ave. Lakewood, NY. Where store clerk Donna M. Ingerson was alleged to have sold alcohol to the minor. The second purchase was completed at State Line Speedway 4150 Kortwright Rd. in Busti, NY. Here Speedway employee Christine L. Munson was cited. The third purchase was at The Cooler Cafe on Main St. in Sherman where James Chambers was alleged to have sold alcohol to a minor. The fourth purchase was at Murdock's also on Main St. in Sherman where Stacey Crossman was alleged to have sold alcohol to a minor. All four subjects were charged with Unlawfully Dealing with a Child 1st Degree and Prohibited Sale of Alcohol. They have future dates to appear before the Town of Busti or Sherman Courts to answer these charges.

The joint traffic initiative held by these very county Law Enforcement agencies yielded 52 tickets for various vehicle and traffic violations.

All agencies affirmed their ongoing commitment to work together to deter under-age drinking and curtail the harmful impacts it has on our youth and community.
