NIAGARA COUNTY, NY (WKBW) - Today at 6:15 A.M., the Niagara County Sheriff's office responded to a motor vehicle accident with injury involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Lower Mountain Road and Baer Road.
Investigation reveals that a pick-up truck pulling a utility trailer was southbound on Baer Road and had just completed a left turn eastbound onto Lower Mountain Road.
A motorcycle Northbound on Baer Road, failed to stop for a stop sign at the intersection and struck the truck and trailer.
The driver of the motorcycle, 44-year-old James M. Friedline, from Wilson, was flown by Mercy Flight to ECMC with chest injuries.
The driver of the truck, 29-year-old William Parkhill Jr., from Cambria, was not injured.
Investigation is continuing.
