BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Buffalo Police continue to investigate a deadly motorcycle accident that happened just before 4:30 Saturday afternoon on the city's east side.

The crash happened on Genesee Street at Johnson Street. Investigators say two motorcyclists were traveling west on Genesee at a high rate of speed when one lost control of his bike and struck a vehicle.

The 29-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene. He was identified by Police on Sunday at Shafid Quintero.

A make-shift memorial has been erected near the corner of the crash site, and mourners continued to stop by through the afternoon Sunday to place candles, pay their respects and give a final look over the crash scene.

Accident investigators say the motorcycles may have been traveling as fast as 90-100 mph.

No charges have been filed at this time.
