According to a story in the Seattle Times, police in Washington said the mother of a 2-year-old boy who has been missing since Sunday morning has declined to take a polygraph test.
According to the Times story, police in Bellvue plan to issue polygraph tests to the people closest to the boy and the boy's mother.
The boy's mother said she left her sleeping son in an unlocked car after it ran out of gas Sunday morning, and that she and her four-year-old daughter walked to a gas station, according to the Seattle Times story. When she returned, she said the boy was gone.
