Twenty-five year old Adrian Huggins was shot on January 8th 2012, he died in the hospital two weeks later. His mother, Marilyn Huggins tells us the painful story of her son actually making the decision to be removed from life support equipment, deciding the day and hour of his death.

Marilyn Huggins says it was the worst day of her life when her son was ambushed outside of an eastside liquor store on Dodge Street and Wohlers Avenue.

An unknown gunman fired multiple shots through the passenger window of the car Huggins was riding in striking Huggins and his friend 26 year old Demario Woodard.

Huggins girlfriend and her son in the back seat weren't hit.

Woodard survived the attack but Huggins spent the next two weeks fighting for his life until he and his family made the decision to remove him from life support equipment at midnight January 20th, four days before his birthday.

It's been almost a year since Huggins death and detectives tell the family they have no leads.

The family has seen the horrific images captured on city surveillance cameras that haven't been released to the public.

But Marilyn Huggins is begging for the public's help to provide information leading to the arrest and conviction of her son's killer.

This incident is still under investigation. If you have any information please contact the Buffalo Police Confidential Tipline at 716-847-2255.
