BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - Molly's Pub owner Jeffrey Basil will be arraigned Monday morning on new charges in connection with the death of Air National Guardsman Bill Sager.

Eyewitness News has confirmed that Basil will face Second Degree Murder and First Degree Manslaughter charges when he appears before State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang at 9:30 a.m.

Basil was charged with First Degree Attempted Murder in the days following an incident at his University District tavern in Buffalo on May 11.

Prosecutors say Basil allegedly threw Sager down a flight of stairs during an altercation.

Sager suffered a traumatic brain injury and was unresponsive until his death on July 31 at ECMC.

Basil faces 25 years to life in prison if convicted of the new charges.
