BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) -Have you ever heard of a "Mobile Re-employment Response Team"? It's a new project that New York State is trying to help people find jobs. The initiative, organized by the NYS Department of Labor, is aimed at easing the struggles with landing a job.

The project allows a team of trained staffers to travel from county to county and set up mobile sites. Workers will review resumes, assist with job leads, provide training opportunities and outline key interviewing skills.

"So far this is great," said Marcia Deuser, who is looking for a job in the banking industry. "I mean, my resume most definitely needed to be critiqued and I got a lot of good ideas."

The mobile project drew close to 2,000 people to ECC's City Campus Friday. Officials say they've already hosted five events, and plan on scheduling more throughout the year.
