BUFFALO, NY (WKBW-TV) - A mistrial was declared in the trial for a man accused of killing his mother last spring. State Supreme Court Justice Penny Wolfgang declared the mistrial after the jury was unable to reach a unanimous verdict.
Police say Primitivo Cruz beat and killed his 77-year-old mother, Carol Quinn, in her West Seneca home.
Cruz will remain in custody. A new trial is now scheduled for May.
