BUFFALO, NY (WKBW) - While the polls are dead even between Republican Chris Collins and Democrat Kathy Hochul in the 27th Congressional District, the amount of money the two sides are spending is far from.
Hochul is spending four times as much as Collins. And incumbent Hochul is also raising money at a faster rate.
But Collins is benefiting from outside money, much of which is being used to oppose Hochul.
A total of $1 million in outside money has been poured into the race so far.
