Miller Time! Sabres Even The Series

April 21, 2011 Updated Apr 21, 2011 at 6:58 AM EDT

Buffalo (WKBW.com) Ryan Miller said on Tuesday that the Sabres had yet to play their best game in their series against the Flyers. Then he went out and played one of his best games of the season.

Miller picked up his second shutout of the series with 32 saves in a 1-0 victory over the Flyers on Wednesday night. The win tied the best-of-seven series with the Flyers at 2-2. Game Five is Friday in Philadelphia. The victory also ensured that the Sabres will return to Buffalo on Easter Sunday to host game six.

Miller's biggest save of the night came on former Buffalo teammate Danny Briere in the third period. Briere was left all alone in front of the net. Miller stopped him with the glove.

Jason Pominville scored the only goal of the game in the first period. Pominville put his first goal of the series past Brian Boucher following a great pass from Rob Niedermayer.
