HAMBURG NY, (WKBW) It's been a little over 24 hours since Hamburg School Superintendent Dr. Richard Jetter was officially charged with falsifying a police report, but the truth came out well before Jetter confessed.

Eyewitness news has learned that the woman with him the night of his crash will be questioned by the school district's attorney.

We have confirmed through a source that Hamburg Middle School Principal Jennifer Giallella will be questioned in connection with Jetter's accident.

This is after Eyewitness News confirmed Jetter crashed into a utility pole in front of Giallella's South Buffalo home Monday, May 5th and attempted to cover it up. Jetter confessed to police his car was never hit or vandalized.

An attorney for Hamburg School Board Member Catherine Forcucci confirms Giallella was at the school rally for Dr. Jetter, when the community came around to support the superintendent.

Over a month later, Forcucci and her attorney received an anonymous tip that Jetter was lying. They researched it and questioned the superintendent at a June 26th board meeting. Forcucci's attorney went to cross-examine Jetter and was denied when she tried to ask the superintendent questions.

"I sent a letter the next day objecting...because I thought it was proper grounds for cross-examination," said Margret Murphy, Forcucci's attorney.

Today, the Village of Hamburg Police captain met with the Erie County District Attorney's office to discuss the case.
