WEST SENECA, NY (WKBW) Police say they arrested two West Seneca residents for allegedly making methamphetamine in the basement of a home. West Seneca Police arrested 26 year old Kevin Breitenbach and 22 year old Holly Belz. Both are now facing two felony charges each, for manufacturing and possessing methamphetamine.
Police say at about 3:00am Tuesday morning they responded to 87 Briar Hill Drive in West Seneca. Officers say they discovered an "up and operational" meth lab in the basement. Police then took Breitenbach and Belz into custody.
Neighbors say that they live in a quiet neighborhood, and were surprised by the news. Melanie Scarcello lives next door. "You don't do that here. What if it blew up? I know him and he was raised nicely. He shouldn't be like that," she said.
The residents who live at the home that was raided could not be reached for comment.
Both Belz and Breitenbach were arraigned in West Seneca Court Tuesday morning. They are being held on $20,000 bail each, and are in the custody of the West Seneca Police.
