BUFFALO, N.Y. ( WKBW ) A highly sought after recruit of the Bills says no to Buffalo, and yes to San Diego.
Robert Meachem flew to Buffalo Tuesday and met with Bills officials for an evening dinner meeting.
Hours after, Meachem signed a 4 year deal with the San Diego Chargers.
ESPN is reporting the new deal will pay him $25.9 million dollars.
Meachem had 40 catches and 6 touchdowns for the New Orleans Saints in 2011.
Meanwhile the jury is still out on another player the Bills want to sign.
Mario Williams is considered the top defensive player available in free agency this year.
The former first round pick of the Houston Texans was also in town, but he has not made up his mind.
