Buffalo, NY (WKBW) Byron Brown, the mayor of the city of Buffalo says the city has no intention of evicting Occupy protestors like other cities have. Early Tuesday morning New York City police, in full riot gear, raided and dismantled the original Occupy Wall Street camp in Manhattans Zuccotti Park. Nearly 200 protestors were arrested. Mayor Bloomberg said the park had become a health and safety risk. The Occupy Oakland encampment was demolished for the second time on Monday.

Mayor Brown says the Occupy Buffalo group, who has set up in Niagara Square, have been keeping the Square clean, there have been no arrests stemming from the protests and only a few minor complaints from other residents. "They have worked very well with our special events division. There has been an open dialogue, they have followed city law, they have professional, and very cooperative.", said Mayor Brown.
