Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- The National Federation for Just Communities of WNY, Inc. is one of many partners in the upcoming Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration in Niagara Falls at 6 p.m. on Thursday, January 12, at the Performing Arts Center in the Niagara Falls High School.

The theme for this free community celebration -- which is being co-sponsored by WKBW -- is "Join Dr. King's Network".

In addition to the Keynote Speaker, Rod Watson, community leaders Mr. Ron Cunningham, and Ms. Juliette Thomas, and student leader Marquis Siner will be recognized.  Each honoree has a special connection to our WNY community and the dedication to continue promoting the spirit and legacy of Dr. King.

A special tribute will be given to Cleveland Hill students Emily Tout and Hannah Foss for their stance against bullying.   Musical selections will be provided by the Niagara Falls Housing Authority Youth Choir and Reign.
