Pomfret, NY (WKBW)
Early Saturday morning, Sheriffs Deputies stopped a northbound vehicle on Route 60 in the Town of Pomfret. The operator was identified as Nicholas D. Hill-Lindsay, 26, of Jamestown. A record check showed that Hill-Lindsay's New York State license is suspended since 2007 for possession and/or sale of drugs. Hill-Lindsay was arrested for aggravated unlicensed operation 3rd. Upon his arrest on this occasion, Deputies found Hill-Lindsay to be in possession of a narcotic drug with intent to sell. He was additionally charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, a class B felony.

He was arraigned in the Town of Pomfret Court and bail was set at $5000 cash or $25,000 secured bond. Unable to post his bail in court, he was taken to the County Jail in Mayville.
