CLARENCE, NY (WKBW-TV) - A Clarence man was arrested Friday afternoon after State Police responded to a burglary complain at a home on Goodrich Road in Clarence.
The caller, a Town of Clarence employee, advised that he was driving past the residence and he observed a suspicious vehicle in the driveway. The complainant was keeping an eye on the residence as it was the residence of a recently deceased friend of his.
The complainant entered the residence and observed the suspect, 30-year-old Justin Deho inside the residence. Deho was familiar with the residence due to past work services provided to the home owner in the past.
The complainant detained the suspect at the residence until State Police arrived, and investigation revealed that Mr. Deho knew the resident was recently deceased, and broke into the home in an attempt to burglarize it. Deho was arrested and transported to SP Clarence where he was processed and charged with burglary 2nd and possession of burglary tools.
He was arraigned in the Town of Clarence court and is to return on January 15, 2013.
